This Privacy Policy explains how Sworharts Interiors LLC (“Sworharts Interiors”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit sworharts.com or contact our studio. We are a small business and we keep data handling as simple as we can.

2. Information we collect

• Information you give us. Your name, email address, telephone number, town, budget range and the details of your enquiry when you use our contact form, email us or call the studio.
• Information collected automatically. Standard web-server log data such as IP address, browser type, referring page, and the pages you viewed, together with the date and time. Our host retains these logs for up to 30 days for security and troubleshooting.
• Cookie and analytics data. Only if you consent. See our Cookie Policy.

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13, and we do not collect payment card details through this website.

3. Why we use it

• To answer your enquiry and provide a proposal or quotation.
• To deliver design services you have engaged us for, including ordering on your behalf.
• To send the studio letter, if you subscribed, until you unsubscribe.
• To keep accounting records required by federal and Montana state law.
• To protect the website against abuse and to fix technical faults.

We rely on your consent (for marketing and non-essential cookies), performance of a contract (for client work), and our legitimate interest in running and securing a small business.

4. Sharing

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. We share it only with:

• Our web host and email provider, acting on our instructions;
• Suppliers and trades when an order or site visit for your project requires it, and only the details needed;
• Our accountant, and law enforcement or regulators where we are legally required to respond.

5. Retention

Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted after 24 months. Client project records are kept for 7 years for tax and warranty reasons. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Server logs are kept up to 30 days.

6. Your rights

You may ask us to access, correct, delete or export the personal information we hold about you, object to processing, or withdraw consent at any time. Residents of certain jurisdictions, including under the California Consumer Privacy Act and the EU/UK GDPR, have specific rights including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.

To exercise any right, email support@sworharts.com. We reply within 30 days and may ask for information to verify your identity. Requests are free unless clearly excessive.

7. Security

This website is served over HTTPS. Enquiry details are held in our business email account, which is protected by strong passwords and two-factor authentication, and access is limited to studio staff who need it. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. International transfers

Our website and email are hosted in the United States. If you contact us from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US.

9. Third-party links

Our site links to supplier and maker websites we do not control. Their privacy practices are their own; please read their policies.

10. Do Not Track

This site does not respond to browser Do Not Track signals, because no consistent standard exists. You can control cookies through our banner and your browser settings.

11. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will also be noted on our home page for 30 days.
