Our studio is at 775 Pine Street, Helena, Montana 59620. Site visits within Lewis & Clark County are included in the project fee. We travel across Montana most weeks; travel outside the county is billed at cost and agreed in the proposal before work starts.

Design fees start at $320 for a two-hour consultation, $1,750 for a single room and $6,400 for a full home. Furniture, materials and trade labour are separate and paid directly by you. We give a fixed design fee in writing after a free call and, where possible, a look at the space.

No. When we purchase on your behalf you see the supplier invoice we paid. Our income is the design fee only.

A consultation is booked within about two weeks. A single room runs four to six weeks of design, plus lead times. A full home is ten to sixteen weeks of design before anything is ordered. Furniture lead times in 2026 range from two to twenty-two weeks and we list them item by item.

Yes, and most clients do. We coordinate with your contractor directly and issue drawings in the format they need. If you do not have trades booked, we can introduce you to the fourteen we work with regularly — we take no fee for introductions.

One round of revisions is included at concept stage on every service. If, after that round, the direction still is not right, you can end the engagement and you owe nothing beyond the work already delivered. It has happened three times in nine years.

We take a small number of short-term rental and small commercial projects each year — cafés, clinics and offices under 3,000 sq ft. Email us with the details and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right fit.

Card, ACH bank transfer or check. Design fees are split 50/50 for smaller projects and across three stages for full-home work. Every invoice is itemised and issued from Sworharts Interiors LLC.

Yes. Our remote package starts at $2,400 and delivers the same drawings and schedules digitally, with recorded video walkthroughs. It suits homes outside Montana where a site visit is not practical.
